The agreement that governs use of speech.name, and the limits of what a record means.
Applicable agreement
Marketplace purchases are governed by the Google Cloud Marketplace terms between Google and the customer, together with the applicable vendor EULA between the customer and Grid Heap, Inc. The version shown at purchase confirmation controls. See the Google Cloud Marketplace Standard EULA. Free registry accounts are governed by these terms alone.
Your record
You keep every right you have in your voice and in the content you publish. You grant us only the licence needed to store, display and resolve your record as a public registry entry. You must have the right to make the statements your record makes, and you must not use a handle to impersonate another person or organisation. The handle and dispute policy governs impersonation, trademark and misattribution complaints.
What a record is not
A record is evidence that a statement was published, by a handle, at a time. It is not consent, not a licence, not proof of identity, and not a technical control. speech.name does not verify that a holder owns the voice described, does not adjudicate ownership, and cannot prevent anyone from generating audio. Nothing in the registry substitutes for legal advice or legal process.
Plans
Claiming handles, publishing grants and public resolution are free. Metered add-ons, where offered, are billed through your Marketplace order; plan, price, term, cancellation and refunds follow that order. We do not bill separately inside the application and we do not apply automatic overage charges that are not stated in the order.
